If you have a major sweet tooth, then you need to try this Kesar Jalebi recipe. Make your evening sweet with the richness of Kesar and the deliciousness of your favourite snack.
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup gram flour 1/4 cup yoghurt 1/4 cup water 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands Oil for deep frying Sugar syrup (made with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water)
Combine all-purpose flour, gram flour, yoghurt, water, baking soda, and saffron strands. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
Using a jalebi-making tool, pour the batter into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown and crispy.
Immediately soak the fried jalebis in the prepared sugar syrup for a few minutes.
Serve hot with chopped pistachios garnish.
