Warm yourself on cold winter nights with a bowl of tomato soup, a hearty dish full of rich flavours. This mind-blowing tomato soup will tantalize your taste buds and comfort your soul with every spoonful.
3 medium tomatoes, halved ½ tsp Cumin seeds ½ tsp Black pepper ½ tsp Salt 3 Garlic cloves 1 small green chilli 5-6 Fresh Coriander stems ¼ tsp Hing (Asafoetida) Water as required Paneer as required, cubed Maggi masala: For seasoning paneer
Char the tomato halves over a gas stove until they're just slightly tender. The tomatoes get a smokiness from the process.
Include half a teaspoon of black pepper, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, and salt in a mixing jar. Toss in three cloves of garlic, one small green chilli, five or six stems of coriander, and hing. Put the tomatoes that have burned into the jar.
Pour a little water into the jar with the ingredients to help them combine. Mix all the ingredients until they are finely blended.
Transfer the combined mixture to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. To get the consistency you want, add water little by little. Heat the soup until it boils.
In a separate pan, lightly toast paneer cubes until golden brown. Sprinkle Maggi masala over the paneer for added flavour. Once the soup is hot and at the right consistency, serve it in bowls. Top each bowl with the spiced, toasted paneer cubes. Enjoy
