Indulge in the delightful flavors of cinnamon with this moist and fluffy cake. Perfectly paired with a cup of tea.
2 cups all-purpose flour 1 ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda 1 tsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp salt 1 cup granulated sugar ½ cup softened unsalted butter 2 large eggs 1 cup buttermilk 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 175°C and prepare a cake pan. In a bowl Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Now Cream sugar and softened butter in a separate bowl. Beat in eggs, then add vanilla extract.
Now mix the wet and dry ingredients. Pour batter into the prepared pan and Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.
Slice and serve with tea. Enjoy this delicious dry cake!
