A mildly sweet and hearty Indian dessert, this tender coconut kheer is the ultimate way to enjoy tropical flavours as a sweet ending to your meal.
1.5 cups whole milk ½ cup coconut milk 1 cup coconut malai, chopped ½ cup sugar ½ cup coconut water ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
Bring the whole milk to a boil and simmer until it reduces by half, stirring in-between.
Add the sugar and cardamom powder once it condenses, before cooling completely.
Once cooled, add the coconut milk, malai and water before stirring to combine.
