Chilla, often made with moong dal or besan, is considered among the healthiest breakfast recipes. You can add a small twist to it by adding eggs to the list of ingredients. Here is a 5-minute recipe you must try.
2 eggs 1 cup besan 1 tbsp tomato 1 tsp ginger 1 tbsp coriander leaves 1 tbsp onion 1-2 chopped green chillies 1 tsp chaat masala Salt to taste 1 tbsp butter ½ tsp pepper 1 cup water
Mix besan, water, onion, tomatoes, salt, green chillies, ginger, coriander, and water. Keep the mixture thick but runny.
Once the consistency is right, break two eggs in it. Whisk them with the ingredients.
Heat a skillet and add a ladle of this mixture at the centre.
Immediately spread the mixture to give a round shape to the chilla.
Once the base is cooked, flip it. Make sure to add butter on the edges.
Sprinkle chaat masala and pepper. Fold the chilla and enjoy it hot with sauces.
