This summer drink is as refreshing as it gets since it packs the goodness of watermelons and you can make it every day on repeat too. It features a beautiful red-pink colour while being delicious and creamy. You will need some common ingredients and your watermelon smoothie will be ready in no time. So, here's a recipe for you to try:
2 cups of chopped watermelon (seedless) 1/2 cup of plain Greek yoghurt 1/2 cup of coconut milk (or any milk of your choice) 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste) 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional) Ice cubes (optional)
In a blender, combine the sliced watermelon, Greek yoghurt, coconut milk, honey, maple syrup, and, if desired, vanilla extract. Blend until creamy and smooth.
After tasting the smoothie, add additional honey or maple syrup to enhance the sweetness if necessary.
Pour in a few ice cubes and mix again if you want your smoothie to be cooler.
After transferring the smooth watermelon smoothie into glasses, serve it right away.
For extra freshness, you may even add a sprinkling of mint leaves or a piece of watermelon as a garnish.
