Easy Vanilla Cake Recipe For Your Tea And Coffee Breaks

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract 1/2 cup whole milk

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

Step 2

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 4

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 5

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar or frost, as desired.
