Idli chaat is an impeccable fusion of South India’s speciality, idli and North India’s finger-licking chaat. You can only imagine how the mouth-melting idlis work as magic when served in a bowl of curd with chutneys. Why don’t you try it out yourself this evening?
Steamed idlis - 8 Curd - 1/2 cup Chopped onions - 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro - 2 tablespoons Tamarind chutney Green chutney Sev - 1 tablespoon Oil - 1 tablespoon Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon Salt and pepper
Cut the steamed idlis into 5-6 pieces.
Shallow fry the idlis till they are crispy.
Prepare the chaat mixture by adding the chopped idlis to the curd.
Coat the idlis well, and then add chopped onions and cilantro.
Add tamarind and green chutney and mix well.
Sprinkle chaat masala, salt, and pepper as per your taste.
Garnish with sev and enjoy the fusion dish.
