Dahi vada is one of the most loved street foods in India. There is no one who can say no to a bowl of dahi vada. Eating dahi vada may be easy but making the perfect vadas is not at all easy. But we have some tips for you!
It is essential to soak urad dal for vadas for at least 4 to 5 hours. It will make the vadas moister.
For smooth vadas, whipping the vada batter is essential. The more you whip, the fluffier vadas will become.
When you add baking soda to the vada batter, the vadas rise properly when fried.
It is recommended that vadas should be fried on low to medium flame so that they can cook properly from inside.
After the vadas are fried, they should be soaked into cold water with salt. Salt adds enhanced flavour to the vada.
Make sure you don’t squeeze out the entire water from the vadas as water helps in keeping the vadas soft and moist.
