Made with lots of bright and bold flavours such as Kashmiri chilli and tandoori masala, this delicious delight can be served as an appetiser or paired with rice and naan for weeknight family dinner.
450 g chicken breast 3 tablespoons olive oil 1/3 cup yoghurt 2 teaspoons ginger 1 tablespoon fresh garlic 2 teaspoons garam masala 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons cumin 2 teaspoons chili powder 1/2 tablespoon turmeric 1 teaspoon coriander 1 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder juice of 1 whole lime ghee for basting
In a bowl, add chicken along with oil, yoghurt, ginger, garlic, all the spices, and lime juice. Mix well and let it marinade for 1 hour.
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium high heat. Grease the grill by brushing it with oil.
Add the marinated chicken to the grill and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes on each side.
Baste it by brushing with ghee on each side once. Once cooked properly, take off from the grill. Cut into pieces and serve.
