Easy Tamarind Chutney Recipe To Relish With Snacks

This sweet and sour chutney is perfect for all kinds of snacks including dahi vada & samosa and can be stored for a month..

2 cups water, 2 tsp tamarind concentrate, 1 cup jaggery, 1/2 tsp black salt, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tsp ginger powder.

Ingredients

Heat water over medium-high heat until just boiling then add in tamarind concentrate and stir until completely incorporated.

Step 1

Add all the ingredients and stir until completely dissolved.

Step 2

Reduce heat to a simmer and cook until thickened to a point that it's slightly syrupy, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Let cool for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Serve with the snack or transfer to an airtight container immediately and store in refrigerator.
