Tahini is a popular Middle Eastern spread that is prepared using sesame seeds. It is a nutritious spread used to elevate dishes like sandwiches or be drizzled over chips, fries, and more. Here's a recipe for you to try:
1 cup sesame seeds 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil Salt to taste (optional)
Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden (5 minutes).
Blend the toasted seeds in a food processor.
Add olive oil until smooth. Add salt to taste, if desired and blend briefly to mix.
Transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
