Sprouts chilla is a delicious and healthy variation of the traditional besan chilla. It is flavourful and packed with protein and is made with staple pantry ingredients. Here's a recipe for you to try:
1 cup mixed sprouts 1/2 cup besan 1/4 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes 1-2 chopped green chillies 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for cooking
Blend sprouts into a coarse paste.
Mix sprout paste, besan, onions, tomatoes, chilies, coriander, spices, and salt. Add water to make a pourable batter.
Pour batter onto a hot, greased pan. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney or yoghurt.
