The summer season is here and to beat the heat, so is this dessert. This kulfi unlike the traditional flavours uses coffee as its standout ingredient. Along with coffee, several spices are added to add more complexity and depth to the frozen dessert. The best part? Making this kulfi is as easy as enjoying it. Here's a recipe for you to try:
2 cups heavy cream 1 cup sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled 1 tsp ground cardamom 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp ground cloves
Whisk heavy cream and condensed milk until thick and creamy.
Mix in cooled brewed coffee along with ground cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Transfer the spiced coffee mixture into kulfi moulds or small cups.
Place the moulds in the freezer and let the kulfi freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Before serving, run the moulds under warm water to release the kulfi.
Optionally, garnish with chopped nuts like pistachios or almonds before serving the spiced coffee kulfi.
