Easy Pumpkin Pancakes Recipe For Breakfast

Ingredients

1 cup whole wheat flour 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 cup of milk 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1 large egg 2 tablespoons of melted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

Combine whole wheat flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a big bowl.

Step 2

Take a separate bowl and mix milk, pumpkin puree, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

After adding the liquid components, mix the dry ingredients only until they are barely blended. Avoid overmixing; a few lumps are acceptable.

Step 4

Over medium heat, preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle with a little oil. Use about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake when sprinkling or pouring the batter onto the griddle.

Cook the pancake until bubbles appear on its surface, then flip it over and continue cooking until both sides are golden brown.
