Refreshing and tangy, pineapple aam panna is the perfect summer drink to cool you down on a hot day. This traditional Indian beverage takes just minutes to whip up with simple ingredients.
2 cups of pineapple chunks 1 cup of water 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup of lemon juice 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon black salt
In a blender, puree the pineapple chunks with water until smooth.
Strain the pineapple puree through a sieve into a pitcher to remove any fibrous bits.
Add the sugar, lemon juice, roasted cumin powder and black salt. Whisk well to dissolve the sugar.
Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.
Chill for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves or pineapple chunks. Enjoy this refreshing drink!
