Panchamrit, as the name says, is made from five ingredients — milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar — which are proclaimed as a nectar of immortality. It emerged during the Samudra Manthan while churning the ocean of milk and is one of the favourite delicacies of Lord Krishna. Celebrate Janmashtami with panchamrit through this easy recipe.
1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp curd 2 tbsp ghee 7-8 tbsp lukewarm milk
Take a silver bowl to make the panchamrit.
Combine sugar, honey, curd, ghee, and milk one by one in the bowl and stir continuously.
To enhance the flavour, you can add saffron or cardamom powder to it.
Mix everything until well combined. Offer it as a prasad for pooja.
