Dosa is the quintessential Indian breakfast dish that is enjoyed with a variety of condiments such as coconut chutney, tomato chutney, sambar, and more. It resembles a crepe in appearance and is savoury in flavour. Here's a quick recipe for you to try with your leftover dosa.
1 cup leftover cooked rice 1/2 cup urad dal (split black gram) 1/4 cup poha (flattened rice) Salt to taste Water as needed
Soak urad dal and poha together for 4-6 hours, then drain.
Blend soaked dal, poha, and leftover rice into a smooth batter. Add salt and mix well.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin dosa.
Drizzle oil around the edges and cook until golden brown.
Flip and cook the other side until golden brown. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
