Easy Karela Salad Recipe For A Morning Health Boost

Ingredients:

5 bitter gourd 6-8 garlic cloves 1 onion, sliced 1 lemon 3 green chillies, chopped ½ cup roasted peanuts Salt, to taste Pepper, to taste 1 tsp mustard oil

Step 1

Place the whole bitter gourd in a steamer or a pot of water and boil until al dente.

Step 2

Cool the bitter gourd then deseed it and slice thinly.

Step 3

Take the garlic, chillies and roasted peanuts in a mortar and pestle, and pound well until crushed and combined.

Step 4

Add sliced onions, salt and pepper, and mix well until combined. Pound a little more to release the onion juices.

Step 5
