Oats dosa is a quick and healthy twist on the traditional dosa. Made with oats, rava, and rice flour, this crispy dosa is perfect for breakfast or an evening snack, served with spicy chutney.
1 cup rolled oats 1 cup rice flour ¼ cup rava (semolina) 1 tsp salt 4 cups water ½ onion, finely chopped 2 chillies, finely chopped 2 tbsp coriander, chopped 2 tbsp curry leaves, chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds
Dry roast the oats in a pan until they turn crunchy. Let the oats cool, then grind them into a fine powder.
Mix the oats powder with rice flour, rava, and salt in a large bowl.
Add water and chopped vegetables to prepare a watery batter.
Rest the batter for 15 minutes for oats and rava to soak.
Pour the batter into a hot pan and spread it. Roast for 2 minutes.
