Cinnamon tea is a caffeine-free, warm, and soothing drink. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for cosy afternoons. Add honey and lemon to enhance its taste and enjoy its comforting flavour.
2 cups water 6 (4-inch) cinnamon sticks 4 lemon slices 4 tsp honey (or to taste)
Boil 2 cups of water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add 6 cinnamon sticks to the boiling water and stir gently.
Cover the saucepan, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the tea to steep for 5 more minutes.
Remove the cinnamon sticks from the tea and discard them.
Pour the tea into cups, adding 1 tsp of honey and a lemon slice. Serve the tea warm and enjoy its fragrant, comforting flavour.
