Easy Homemade Calcutta-Style Chicken Roll In 6 Steps

Ingredients

50 grams of boneless chicken, cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon ginger paste 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chili powder 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 medium-sized tomato Fresh coriander 2 cups whole wheat flour

Step 1

Marinate 250g boneless chicken with ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and salt.

Step 2

Sauté onions until golden, add marinated chicken to the pan and cook until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

Step 3

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and the mixture has a semi-dry consistency.

Step 4

Finish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside. Mix 2 cups whole wheat flour, salt, and water to form a soft dough

Step 5

Divide, roll into thin parathas, cook with ghee until golden brown. Place the paratha on a plate. Add chicken filling, sliced onions, green chilies, and coriander.

Drizzle with mint chutney. Optionally, add a beaten egg and roll tightly. Serve with chilli sauce
