Alfredo is a traditional Italian sauce, also known as white sauce or pasta in blanco, used for various applications, most notably in pasta preparations. It is a creamy sauce that can easily level up your meals. Here's a recipe for you to try:
1 cup heavy cream ½ cup unsalted butter 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 cloves of garlic Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Melt the butter and heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat. For two to three minutes, simmer.
Once aromatic, simmer for one to two minutes after adding the minced garlic.
Once the sauce is thick and creamy, gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with parsley, if preferred. Over spaghetti, serve right away.
