Methi pakoda, also known as Methi na Gota or Methi Bhajia is a traditional Gujarati snack. If you are looking for tea-time snacks to enjoy this monsoon season, try this easy recipe of methi pakoda.
1 cup besan ¾ cup chopped methi ¼ cup chopped dhania 1 tsp chopped green chillies ¼ tsp haldi ¼ tsp hiing A pinch of baking soda Salt to taste Oil for deep-frying
Mix besan, haldi, hing, salt, and baking soda. Add chopped methi, dhania, and green chillies.
Make a smooth batter by adding water. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
Heat some oil. Deep fry small portions to make pakodas till they are crispy.
Take them out, drain excess oil, and serve with your favourite chutney.
