Homemade Guacamole is a fresh, creamy dip ready in just 5 minutes. Enjoy this classic Mexican dish with toast, tacos, or tortilla chips, making your meals even more delicious.
1 ripened avocado ¼ cup finely chopped onions ¼ cup finely chopped tomatoes (optional) ½ to 1 tsp serrano peppers or jalapeño ⅛ to ¼ tsp minced garlic (optional) ¼ tsp crushed black pepper 2 tbsp chopped coriander 2 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil Salt as required 1 tbsp chopped coriander for garnish (optional)
Cut the avocado into two equal halves and remove the ripe pulp with a spoon.
Place the avocado pulp in a small mixing bowl and mash it with a spoon.
Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, serrano peppers, garlic, and coriander to the bowl.
Pour in the olive oil and lemon juice, and add salt and black pepper. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, ensuring the avocado is mashed well and evenly mixed.
Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips, toast, or as a side with tacos and burritos.
