2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp ground cardamom 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
Mix flour, baking powder, cardamom, and salt. Beat sugar and butter. Add milk and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Pour into loaf pan, and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Cool and slice the loaf. Bake slices at 300°F (150°C) for 15-20 minutes until crisp.
