Dabeli is a popular street food from Gujarat that has a mix of spicy, tangy and sweet flavours packed in a soft bun. With ingredients like tamarind chutney, spicy peanuts and aromatic masala, this easy recipe brings the street-style dabeli to your home kitchen.
4 pav buns 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes 2 tbsp dabeli masala 1 tbsp oil 2 tbsp tamarind chutney 2 tbsp garlic chutney ¼ cup pomegranate seeds ¼ cup spicy roasted peanuts ¼ cup sev 2 tbsp fresh coriander 2 tbsp grated coconut (optional) Salt to taste Butter
Heat oil in a pan and add dabeli masala. Add mashed potatoes, and salt and mix well. Cook for 2–3 minutes and then remove from heat.
Cut each pav bun and spread tamarind chutney on one side and garlic chutney on the other.

In a pan, add butter and toast the dabeli on both sides till golden.
Serve hot with coriander and grated coconut.
