Easy Coconut Butter Recipe You Can Try At Home

If you have been cutting dairy from your diet, you need alternatives for milk, butter, and cheese. One of the best replacements for dairy is coconut. Here is a quick and easy recipe for coconut butter you must try. 

Ingredients

3-4 cups of desiccated coconut ½ tsp vanilla extract A pinch of sea salt

Step 1

Add desiccated coconut to a blender and shred it. The consistency should be powder-like.

Step 2

Keep grinding for at least 10 minutes, and you will notice creamy butter will start forming.

Step 3

If the food processor has enough coconut, you will witness it turning into liquid and creamy. 

Step 4

Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to it. Mix the ingredients.

Step 5

Take out the butter in a small bowl and store it at room temperature.

Step 6

After a couple of hours, it will start hardening. You can also keep it in the fridge and use it as required.
