Enjoy rich, fudgy homemade chocolate brownies topped with a smooth chocolate frosting. This easy recipe promises perfectly baked brownies with a decadent layer of frosting that adds extra sweetness.
½ cup butter 1 cup white sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder ½ cup all-purpose flour ¼ tsp salt ¼ tsp baking powder 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tbsp honey 1 cup confectioners' sugar
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease an 8-inch square pan.
Melt ½ cup butter in a large saucepan, then remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the saucepan and stir until well-mixed.
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until the batter is smooth.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
While brownies cool, make the frosting by mixing softened butter, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and confectioners' sugar.
Spread the frosting on warm brownies for a glossy finish. Let cool before serving.
