You may have tried some bizarre samosa varieties like sandwich samosa and chocolate samosa, which taste surprisingly good. But this eccentric Chinese samosa is hard to come by. If you are a fan of Chinese cuisine and flavours, check out this interesting Chinese samosa recipe.
1 cup cabbage shredded ½ cup capsicum, chopped ½ cup carrots, chopped 2 tablespoons oil 2 tablespoons chopped garlic 1 tablespoon chopped ginger 2-3 green chillies ½ cup chopped French beans ½ cup corn kernels Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions
2 tablespoons Schezwan sauce 1 tablespoon red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon ketchup 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon vinegar
Combine cabbage, capsicum, and carrot in a bowl lined with muslin cloth. Add some salt to start osmosis and let the water come out. Squeeze all the water out of the veggies with the muslin cloth.
Heat a pan and add oil. Throw in garlic, ginger, and green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add French beans, sweet corn, and drained veggies.
Add salt, black pepper, and sugar. Mix well and sauté on high flame.
Add schezwan sauce, red chilli sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix well. Saute on high heat and finish with spring onions. The filling is ready.
Take the samosa sheet and stuff the filling in. Seal the opening with flour slurry and fry until crispy golden. Serve with schezwan sauce or ketchup.
