Easy Chilli Oil Noodle Recipe For Spicy Treat

Ever since Korean spicy noodles have taken the world by storm, its chilli oil topping has become a global sensation. With this easy homemade chilli oil noodles recipe, you can savour the spicy joy of Korean noodles without worrying about your health.

Ingredients

200g wheat noodles 3 tbsp chilli flakes 2 tbsp sesame seeds 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice vinegar 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp sugar 1-2 spring onions, finely chopped Fresh cilantro for garnish Salt to taste

Step 1

Boil noodles in a pot as per the instructions. Drain it and keep it aside.

Step 2

Combine chilli flakes, sesame seeds, garlic and spring onions in a bowl. Heat up vegetable oil and sesame oil until hot but not smoky. Pour the hot oil on the chilli flakes mixture carefully.

Step 3

Let it sizzle to make the ingredients cook throughly. Rest it for a few minutes to let the flavours come through.

Step 4

Toss the cooked noodles in a chilli oil mixture. Top it with spring onions, cilantro and sesame seeds.
