INGREDIENTS

1 cup whole milk 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup condensed milk 3 egg yolks 1 tablespoon corn starch 1 teaspoon cardamom powder ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons sugar

STEP 1

Combine all the ingredients except the heavy cream in a saucepan and simmer on a low flame until thickened.

Cool completely by transferring it to an air-tight container and refrigerating.

Whisk the heavy cream until soft peaks form and fold into the cold custard before you place it in a freeze-proof container.
