3 lt milk 4 lemons 6 tbsp powdered sugar 5 green cardamoms 25 saffron strands

In a pan, add 2 lt milk and let it boil. Meanwhile, put lemon juice in a bowl and grind green cardamoms.

Once the milk is boiled, let it cool down for 5 mins. Slowly add lemon juice. Stir and mix well.

When chhena starts forming, filter it using a strainer to separate the solids. Clean it in water and separate it.

Add a prepared chhena to the grinder. Add ¼ cup milk, 6 tbsp sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.

In a container, apply ghee and even spread the paste. Tap it and add saffron strands to it.

In a steamer, add water, cover the steamer, and boil it. Slow down the flame and place the container.

Steam it for 1/2 an hour and when done, remove it and let it cool down. Then, refrigerate it for 30 minutes to set it.

Flip the Sandesh using a knife and cut it into pieces. Serve and enjoy.
