If you have leftover dal in the refrigerator, you can prepare protein-rich and healthy parathas for yourself in a jiffy. These are not only nutritious but also delicious. Try this recipe.
½ tsp jeera, garam masala ¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain) ½ tsp amchur powder ½ cup cooked dal 1.5 cups atta Salt to taste 2-3 tbsp oil or ghee 1 tsp red chilli powder Water as needed
In a deep vessel, combine all the ingredients, except for oil, and knead a soft dough.
Keep the dough aside for a while before dividing it into small pedas.
Roll each peda into a triangular, square, or circular paratha.
Meanwhile, heat a tawa so that you can quickly roast your parathas.
Cook both sides of the paratha before serving.
Enjoy dal paratha with boondi raita or curry.
