When you feel the chill of monsoon hitting you, there’s nothing better than enjoying Punjabi pinni to warm yourself up with this traditional sweet. It would not just melt in your mouth but will also build your immunity.
2 cups whole wheat flour (atta) 1 cup ghee 1 cup jaggery ½ cup almonds ¼ cup cashews ¼ cup pistachios 1 tablespoon raisins 1 teaspoon cardamom
Heat some ghee and roast atta till golden brown and fragrant,
Remove the heat, spread the roasted flour on a plate and let it cool.
Once cool, grind the mixture to make a fine powder. Mix in jaggery till well combined.
Add chopped almonds, cashews, pistachios, and raisins. Mix well.
Once combined, shape the mixture into small balls and enjoy.
