From dinner parties to brunch get-togethers, this tandoori broccoli dish is a perfect appetiser for any occasion. Even if you are not a big fan of broccoli, this recipe will still turn out to be a showstopper and you’ll definitely love it.
200 gms Broccoli Florets Water and Ice Cubes 1/2 cup Hung Curd 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp Black Salt 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp Lemon Juice 2 -3 tbsp Gram Flour (roasted) 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
Cut the florets and clean them from the bottom for easy cooking. Boil them in hot water for a few minutes then remove them on iced water to stop the cooking process.
Prepare marination by adding hung curd in a bowl. Add chilli powder, garam masala, black salt, chaat masala, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice.
After spices, add roasted gram flour and mustard oil. Mix the ingredients well to make marination paste.
Drain the florets and add them to the marination. Coat them well using your hands and keep in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Once chilled, skewer the broccoli in a tandoori skewer one by one and grill them directly on the flame. Grill well from all sides and once they are nicely charred, take out on a plate and sprinkle chaat masala.
Serve tandoori broccoli with chutney.
