2 large onions, sliced into rings 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon paprika Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup buttermilk Vegetable oil for frying
In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip the onion rings into the buttermilk, then dredge them in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet over medium heat. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy the crunchy goodness of homemade onion rings!
