Easy Air-Fried Karela Chips For A Crunchy Vitamin C Boost

Craving for crispy snacks? Try this nutritious twist on traditional chips using karela (bitter gourd) in your air fryer!  Baked to perfection, these karela chips are low-calorie, high-fibre, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

2 medium-sized karela 1 tbsp olive oil ½ tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder

Step 1

Wash and slice karela into thin rounds. Place slices in a bowl of salty water for half an hour.

Step 2

Pat dry and mix them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, chilli powder, and turmeric powder.

Step 3

Preheat the air fryer to 190°C. Place the seasoned slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Step 4

Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn crisp and golden brown.

Step 4

Serve immediately for a healthy snack with a crunchy twist.
