Ragi pakoda is a delicious take on the traditional pakodas, mainly prepared using besan or maida. Ragi not only boosts nutrition but also provides a distinct flavour. Serve the pakodas with your favourite condiments for the best flavour. Here's a recipe for you.
1 cup ragi flour 1/2 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped spinach (optional) 2 chopped green chillies 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for frying
In a bowl, combine ragi flour, onions, spinach, green chillies, cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt.
Gradually add water to form a thick batter and then heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, and fry until crispy and golden.
Remove the pakodas and drain them on paper towels.
