Easter is a joyous occasion typically celebrated with ornate feasts. Common Easter foods include mains, such as lamb and desserts like sweet potato pie. Side dishes, namely roasted vegetables and casseroles, also feature prominently in traditional Easter meals. Here’s a simple potato casserole recipe to elevate your Easter dinner.
1 can condensed cream of potato soup 1 pack frozen hash brown potatoes 2 cups sour cream 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese ½ cup chopped onions ½ cup butter Salt and pepper, for seasoning
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
In a pot over low heat, warm the sour cream, condensed soup, and butter.
In a separate bowl, mix potatoes, cheese, and onions. Add the heated soup concoction to this mixture. Add salt and pepper for seasoning.
Transfer the concoction into a baking dish. Garnish it with additional cheese and bake for about 45 minutes.
Arrange the casserole into bowls or plate, and serve or savour the dish warm, as required. Enjoy!
