Easter is around the corner, and the celebrations cannot be complete with refreshing mocktails, especially when the temperature has begun to rise. These beverages add a dash of colour to the spread and make the meal more enjoyable. Here are a few that you can try out.
Start serving guests with a classic cucumber mint cooler. Add lime juice for a zingy flavour and top it up with ice and water.
You can get sweet watermelon from the market, cut its top, blend its juicy pulp, and add a few basil leaves and rock salt. Add straws and serve the drink with starters.
Another refreshing drink that you can add to the spread is raspberry spritzer. Muddle berries with basil, and add lemon juice, ice, soda, and water to complete the beverage.
Another fun way to add colours to the Easter table is by making berry lemonade. Add soda for fizz and a lemon slice to each glass for an exotic look.
After red, purple, and clear drinks, the pineapple mocktail will add a yellow colour. Blend pineapple pulp with lemon juice and ginger syrup. Add ice and pineapple wedges before serving.
Mango has started to make its way into the vegetable market. Apply red chilli powder and salt on the rim of glasses, add a lemon wedge, pour the mixture, and serve.
Mix pineapple juice, orange juice, and coconut water in a jar. Pour grenadine into a glass for the sunrise effect and decorate the glasses with slices of oranges.
