Durga Pujo is almost here, and the festivity celebrates the variety of food offered to Devi Durga which are later consumed as prasad. There are Niramish as well as Amish dishes. However, on certain days, the devotees cherish the Niramish dishes made without onion and garlic. One such recipe you can enjoy is Dudh paneer. Tap to know the recipe here:

200 gm Paneer Salt as required ½ tsp Turmeric powder ½ red chilli powder 1 tbsp sugar 6-8 whole cashew 8-10 rasins 1-2 tbsp watermelon seeds 1 cup milk ½-1 cup of required 1 tsp whole garam masala 1 bay leaf 1 dried red chilli 1 tbsp ghee 1-2 tbsp refined oil 1 pinch garam masala

Cut the paneer into cubes. Keep them aside.

Heat a kadai and add refined oil. Fry the paneer lightly for 3-4 mins.

Soak cashews, raisins, watermelon seeds in warm water for 4-5 mins and make a paste.

Temper whole garam masala in ghee. Add the white paste and fry for a minute.

Adjust salt and spices. Add warm milk and let it come to a boil.

Add paneer and simmer for a next few minutes. Finish off with ghee and garam masala powder.
