By Aanchal Mathur
Like the Manhattan, the Rob Roy is as cocktail that can be made 'sweet', ‘dry’, or ‘perfect’.
The standard Rob Roy is the sweet version, made with sweet vermouth. A ‘dry' Rob Roy is made by replacing the sweet vermouth with dry vermouth.
Ingredients
2 ½ oz Scotch 1 ½ tsp Dry Vermouth 1 twist of lemon peel
Step 1
To start making dry Rob Roy, first take a mixing glass and half-fill it with ice cubes.
Step 2
Now combine the Scotch and vermouth in the glass and stir well.
Step 3
Strain the drink into a cocktail glass. Stir again, garnish with the lemon twist and serve chilled.
