Made with drumsticks, onion, pepper and cumin powder, drumstick soup is loaded with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Make it for your next meal with this simple recipe.

1 drumstick, cut into long pieces sliced in half 1 tsp ghee ¼ cup onion, chopped finely 2 cloves garlic 1 tsp cumin powder pepper powder to taste salt to taste 3 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

Add drumstick in a saucepan with water and cook till drumstick is done. Cool it down, strain it. Remove the flesh from the drumsticks and keep it aside.

Heat ghee in a pot and sauté onions and garlic for a minute. Add the drumstick flesh and mix well. Then take it in a blender and puree till smooth.

Take stock and puree in a saucepan and add cumin powder, salt and pepper. Bring it to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add coriander leaves and mix well and serve hot.
