Although almost any fruit can be dried, the most popular fruits dried for cocktail garnishes are lemons, oranges, pineapples, limes, mangoes, and berries.
Lavender, violas, roses, nasturtiums, and orchids are a few excellent culinary flower options. However keep in mind that not all flowers are suitable for a cocktail garnish.
Orange fruit rind, or "peel," contains delicate oils that improve the flavour of cocktails.
Cocktail cherries come in a variety of types, are preserved in various ways, and may or may not be flavoured with brandy or another alcoholic beverage.
The most common drinks to serve with an olive are the dirty martini and the Manhattan. Olives will make a dirty martini less dry and provide a little acidity in its place.
Fresh herbs, such mint, rosemary, thyme, or lavender, offer a mixed drink flavour and aroma. Moreover, herb leaves give a cocktail visual interest.
