DOs and DON'Ts of Making Ginger Garlic Paste at home.

Ginger Garlic Paste is one such ingredient in the kitchen which is almost used every day for gravies, curries and whatnot. Where Paste is accessible easily outside, here's a recipe which you can make at home as well as a few tricks and tips for its durability

Ingredients 1 cup Ginger(roughly chopped) 1 cup Garlic(roughly chopped) 2 tsp oil A pinch of turmeric ½ tsp Salt

Grind ginger and garlic with salt and turmeric. Use oil for consistency rather than water. Blend into a smooth paste.

Do Store it in a glass bottle to retain the flavour. Use oil instead of water for the ideal texture. Use only airtight containers for storage.

Don’t Use a wet spoon while transferring the final paste. Deep freeze the paste. Use dried or stale ginger and garlic.
