Doon Chetin is a flavourful walnut chutney from Kashmir, packed with rich, earthy flavours. It pairs perfectly with tandoori dishes, fried snacks, or rice, offering a unique taste experience.
Start by assembling ½ cup walnuts, 2 green chillies, 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion, 1 teaspoon shahi jeera, ¼ cup fresh curd, ½ teaspoon red chilli powder, and salt to taste.
Place all the ingredients into a mixer jar.Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. Add more curd if necessary to adjust the texture.
Check the seasoning and adjust according to your preference. Enjoy as a dip with fried snacks, kebabs, or alongside rice dishes.
