Cheese powder is a versatile ingredient that can add a rich, cheesy flavour to snacks, popcorn, or homemade dishes. Making it at home is easy and lets you control the quality of the cheese.
Choose a hard cheese like cheddar or parmesan for the best results.
Use a fine grater to shred the cheese into small pieces to help it dry faster.
Spread the grated cheese on a baking sheet and bake at a low temperature (around 60°C) until it becomes completely dry and crisp.
Once the cheese is dry, blend it in a food processor until it becomes a fine powder. Keep the cheese powder in an airtight container for later use.
