Diwali Special: No-Sugar Dates And Oats Ladoo Recipe

Celebrate Diwali with a healthy twist by making No-Sugar Dates and Oats Ladoo. These laddoos are naturally sweetened with dates and packed with oats, nuts and seeds this is a great option for those looking for a healthy option during the festival.

Ingredients

1 cup oats 1 cup dates 1/4 cup almonds 1/4 cup cashews 2 tbsp flax seeds 1 tbsp chia seeds 1 tbsp ghee 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Step 1

Dry roast oats in a pan on medium heat for 5 minutes. Let it cool and then grind it into a coarse powder.

Step 2

Chop dates into small pieces and mash into a paste.

Step 3

Heat ghee in a pan, add chopped nuts, flax seeds and chia seeds and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Add date paste to the pan and mix well.

Step 5

Add oats powder and cardamom and mix well. Switch off the heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 6

Shape into laddoos when the mixture is warm. Let it set for 10 minutes before serving.
