Til Ke Laddu, a traditional Indian sweet made with sesame seeds and jaggery is the perfect Diwali treat. These bite-sized goodies are not only yummy but also full of health benefits. Sesame seeds and jaggery provide warmth and energy, making it a sweet winter. Here is a simple recipe to make Til Ke Laddu at home.
1 cup Sesame seeds ¾ cup Jaggery (gud) 1 tsp Ghee ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
Heat a pan on medium flame, add sesame seeds and dry roast until they turn golden brown and start to splutter. Set aside.
Add ghee and grated jaggery in the same pan. Stir on low flame until jaggery melts completely and forms a smooth syrup.
Add the roasted sesame seeds and cardamom powder to the melted jaggery. Mix well.
Let it cool slightly. Grease your hands with ghee and shape them into small balls. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
